PROJECT AREA

VILLA AREA: 340 m²

TOTAL AREA: 1.270 m²

The aim of this project located in Belevi Village is to design a structure in harmony with natural life and modern needs. In line with this, the parcels have been separated to include structures on the site, including the main villa where the primary occupants spend their time, and an annex allocated for guest use, all interrelated as per user preferences. Both structures have their own verandas and maintain their unity through a shared garden. A significant portion of the parcel has been designated as green space.

In this approach, traces of the old village lifestyle and architecture were followed. The facade material selection was chosen to be stone cladding, in harmony with the surrounding environment, while the side facing the village road was more enclosed. The facade facing the inner garden, on the other hand, was designed to allow more sunlight with larger openings. Traditional pitched roofs with terracotta tiles and wooden beams were continued in line with the village texture whenever possible.

Both structures have been created with open-plan solutions to allow for flexible usage and a minimal approach.

To enhance visual communication in the villa building and to ensure that the greenery of the garden is felt more within the structure, a gallery void was created between the upper floor hallway and the lower floor living room.

The large veranda adjacent to the annex structure includes a barbecue area to serve dining and relaxation purposes. It has been designed as a semi-open, spacious area suitable for both daytime and nighttime use.

The open usage need of the villa structure has been further customized with a large terrace on the upper floor. Access to this terrace can be obtained both from the upper-floor room and the garden on the ground floor.

The interior designs maintain a modern architectural language while emphasizing the use of natural materials. Wooden elements have been utilized to enhance the warmth and atmosphere inside.
