PROJECT AREA

VILLA AREA: 410 m²

Q Villa is a mansion project located in a rural setting, where the architectural program is resolved on a single floor. The concepts of privacy and togetherness are questioned, aiming to establish a life in harmony with nature in a wooded area. In the main building, considering the family spends a lot of time around the kitchen and dining table, the most spacious and open part of the structure is dedicated to the living room, kitchen, and dining areas. These sections are designed as a single, uninterrupted space. In this project where the distinction between communal and private spaces is emphasized, communal areas like the kitchen, living room, and music room are separated from private areas like bedrooms, bathrooms, dressing rooms, and study rooms. The guest house, positioned at the corner of the interior garden without physical contact with the main building, is designed as a self-sufficient small house with a bedroom, dressing room, bathroom, and kitchen. Renders: Q Villa combines luxury living in nature with simplicity and aesthetics. Each volume of the building features extensive glass surfaces, allowing the natural tree texture of the surrounding area to be felt throughout the interior space. The movement of natural light and the shadows created by tree leaves will elevate this sensation through light and shadow play. The choice of natural wood texture for materials, along with sporadic use of natural stone, is intended to add warmth to the spaces. Modern lines dominate both movable and fixed furniture, highlighting the aesthetic emphasis on the natural and simple. Facade Sections: Q Villa is a horizontal architectural project nestled within a wooded area, resolved on a single floor plan. The structure, which does not exceed the height of any of the surrounding trees, aims to elevate accessibility to the highest level while providing comfort and luxury living. The selection of wood, natural stone, and particularly glass in the facade surfaces facilitates the integration of the building with its surroundings. While striving for controllable permeability between spaces, the design is also focused on maintaining the privacy of individual use areas.
